Cookie Policy
Dear User,
this Cookie Policy explains how the website adcube.ai (hereinafter the “Site”), owned by AD Cube S.r.l. (hereinafter “AD Cube”), uses cookies and similar tools, such as the browser’s localStorage, and forms an integral part of our Privacy Policy.
In short:
- when you open the Site we only use one necessary technical tool, which remembers your choices;
- statistics (Google Analytics) and third-party content (the Google Maps map) are switched on only if you accept them;
- we do not use marketing or profiling cookies and we do not show advertising;
- the Site’s typefaces are served from our own servers, not from Google.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text strings that a site saves on your device through the browser. Similar tools, such as localStorage, are used to remember information between visits. Some are “first-party”, that is, set by AD Cube; others are “third-party”, that is, set by domains other than ours. Some are deleted when you close the browser, others (persistent ones) stay for a longer period.
Depending on their function, we distinguish technical (necessary), analytics and third-party cookies. Only the first are always active.
How you manage your choices
- On your first visit a banner offers three choices: “Reject all”, “Customize” and “Accept all”. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and closing the banner with the “×” counts as rejecting.
- Until you choose, we do not load Google Analytics and we do not load the map: your browser does not contact Google’s servers.
- Your choice is saved only in your browser (localStorage, entry
adcube-consent) and is not sent to our servers. We ask again after 6 months or if we change the services we use. - You can change or withdraw your choices at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page of the Site. If you withdraw statistics, we delete the Google Analytics cookies; if you withdraw third-party content, the map is removed. Any cookies already set by Google can be deleted from your browser settings.
Technical cookies (necessary)
| Name | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|
adcube-consent | First-party technical tool (AD Cube), saved in the browser’s localStorage. It remembers your cookie choices (date, notice version and accepted categories). It contains no data that identifies you and is not sent to our servers. | Up to 6 months, then the choice is asked again |
Technical tools are necessary for the Site to work and do not require your consent (art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). They cannot be switched off from the banner; you can block them in your browser settings, but the Site may then show you the banner on every visit.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
| Name | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | First-party analytics cookie set by Google Analytics 4. It tells visitors apart to produce aggregated statistics on how the Site is used. | 13 months |
_ga_<ID> | First-party analytics cookie set by Google Analytics 4. It keeps the state of the browsing session. | 13 months |
We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to understand which pages are most visited and how to improve the Site. The tool loads only after you consent to the “Analytics” category, with these settings: IP address anonymised; advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation switched off; no link to your name or to other services. The data collected is kept in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months.
You can also prevent measurement with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. For information on how Google processes data, see Google’s privacy policy.
Third-party content (only with your consent)
| Service | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google Maps | Map of our office embedded in the footer. When you switch it on, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and may set their own cookies (for example NID and AEC). Google acts as an independent controller. | Set by Google |
Until you allow third-party content, you see an empty box with a button to switch the map on instead of the map. For the purposes and duration of the cookies set by Google, see its cookie notice.
Marketing and profiling
The Site does not use cookies, pixels or other marketing and profiling tools, and does not show personalised advertising. If we introduce them in the future, they will be activated only with your consent and this Cookie Policy will be updated first.
How can I delete cookies from my browser?
You can manage cookies from your browser settings. Here is how to do it in the main browsers:
